She was the youngest of seven children and attended school in Woodbine. Maxine married Danny Clark on Nov. 30, 1939, in Cameron, Mo., with Maxine's brother, Howard, officiating at the service. The couple lived in Missouri and Wichita, Kan., before returning to Harrison County to farm. Maxine loved her family. She was well known for her coconut chiffon cakes, pies, and beef and noodles. Maxine's love of cooking and baking was shared with many farm helpers over the years. She also loved going to craft fairs, shopping, and looking nice. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing cards, and watching “Wheel of Fortune” and the “Lawrence Welk Show.” Maxine and Danny loved to travel. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Howard Reynolds, Edna Cushing, Hazel Lampkins, Carl Reynolds, Florence Button, and Delmar Reynolds.She is survived by her husband, Danny Clark of Logan; three children, Gary Clark and his wife, Karen, of Logan, Rochelle and her husband, Tim Epperson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jackie and her husband, Monte Jacobsen, of Missouri Valley; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.Memorial donations can be given to the Logan or Woodbine fire and rescue departments.Arrangements by Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine.
